On Sept 11, 2001, while responding to Box Alarm 8083, 403 of my Brother police officers, paramedics, and firefighters gave their lives while safely evacuating over 25k people from the World Trade Center complex. They didn’t ask anyone who they voted for, where they lived, the name of their god, or how much was in their bank account. They just kept climbing, even after the first tower fell. 15 years later, over 120 FDNY personnel alone are listed as having died from exposure to Ground Zero. Ground Zero is STILL killing those of us who responded. They were not strangers. ~ Lavaman3682
