Black Ink, Black Paper

I have baked daily visits to my fellow internet travellers’ blogs. This lurking is difficult to track and note so I wrote a poem about it.

You don’t realize

that I wriggle by

both bidden and unbidden,

a hummingbird moth

in larval form

nibbling and skulking,

“I am here. I am here.”

My silent inky maw

writing away in the darkness.

Black ink.

Black paper.

    ‘Writing away in the darkness’
    Yet shining light

As I re-read another of your blog post….I’m quoting it in my writing now, a monologue for the altc 2022 conference, an acknowledgement, a nibbling, a collecting by the bricoluer.
