You are watching Fred Mindlin, the string master. Yes, Fred is the absolute king of this style of storytelling.  So happy to see someone is capturing his work. He is a cultural gift that keeps on giving.

If you are trying to suggest cool stuff to your students for the Christmas break; in addition to this, I would recommend playing card manipulation and street magic card tricks.

Also,  love this book by Srini Pillay: Tinker, Dabble, Doodle, Try. One of the best points in the book is the emphasis on what the author calls “unfocusing”.  I recommend that you give your students the gift of unfocusing for a large part of every day during the school year, but if you can’t check out the myriad of ideas in Pillay’s book.
