If you assume that most of us are deceived, ignorant, and stupid, that we can’t tell fake from real and don’t want to, then where does that lead us? We don’t even know that this assumption is truth itself.  Who has studied this? Is the bias that is cooked into our brains is such that we can’t help but be trumped by stupid. Are most of us predisposed to believe in and to actively seek certainty  and security over reality?
