Reality Is Quotidien REDUX

Here is my Vialogue from yesterday’s post.  I have reflected on the creative process and this is my ‘director’s cut’. It could be our director’s cut if you join in.   The value of doing this reflection is so important to me. Why?  All of the work of the past three days for me is a reflection of the shared social spaces I live in.  Much is made these days about how we are being distracted to death by the technopoly.  I agree with some of this critique, but it doesn’t go very far toward resolving the fact that this is where I choose to live.  What I have tried to do with this work is to demonstrate to myself (maybe others, but I doubt that will happen) that I can take this distracted work and enter into a deeper consideration of what these distracted threads mean.  I want to show that deep work can be the result of all the “shallow” roots I try to put down.

This is so important – the noticing, the connecting, the contemplating, the reflection, the action/reflection, the sharing, the fun, the fellowship, the rootedness as regards our local, embodied communities. I see no difference between this and the rest of our reality.
