Magic in the Ministry of the Hand in the Mud
Draw a map in the mud
with a stick.
Blaze it with
a few signs.
Imbue those signs
to feign some affect,
perhaps the sigil
that powers
the mud
to hold
the stick’s symbols
from out of
the mind’s ministry
which owns the now
as the stick emerges
from the mud.
