I decided to add to that ubiquity by annotating a blog post and relying on the annotations to somehow in sixish silence make their way to the writer.
I know that this ‘experiment’ is different than Milgram’s original small world experiment . No probs. Just like ol’ Stanley, I have no IRB peering over my shoulder with their beady crow eyes.
I wonder how long it will take.

So, your test is to see how many steps it takes to reach Audrey Waters so that she responds to the annotated comments you posted on the article? By what means of circulation and/or distribution do you anticipate that will happen? Shares and Tweets?

You observe that this is not any kind of scientific study. Call it a curiosity. What I think would be hilarious if she responded here and I never noticed it. Delicious irony were that to occur. I can’t anticipate how it will happen–depends on channels that she uses, but maybe not. In Milgram’s day the channels were more limited. Dunno now.
