I ran across this toot on Mastodon and felt I might give this a try today in regards to whether I will continue to send out my newsletter beacon.  It costs to run them lighthouses.

1. Yes, it needs to be said.
2. I need to re-say it. I need to remind myself that my filters need to be stronger.
3. I need to remind myself all the time that what I might be writing/saying is bullshit. In particular, I have decided to filter my newsletter down to a few times a week. Maybe only once a week. I tried to get feedback from folk on whether or not to do this, but then I realized that this was not their job to tell me or not.
4. Maybe not…since I am not sure I will err on giving myself the benefit of the doubt.
