I made a poem from his wonderfully quizzical response: “maybe…” Not just maybe with a period, full stop, but maybe with an ellipse…like an invitation to carry on to complete the thought or finish the phrase.

I’m still only a little more than half way through reading the Tolstoy article. I’ve highlighted some sections without making comments, just to help pull out key thoughts in a densely worded jungle of ideas.
What can we learn from what was written more than 150 years ago? Maybe a lot? Or not?
