This title is a bit of a scam. I might call it a “zero” draft, but the idea is simple. Find a particularly valuable blog post with lots of resources valuable to your learners or audience. Scrape all the links off of it that are helpful. Highlight all the useful text. Annotate and curate. Call it a microcertification.
There is much more to do, such as create or allow learners to read and annotate good examples of explanatory writing. Create writing prompts so that learners can practice explanatory writing. Find ways to provide shallow and deep feedback as well as feedforward and publishing of learner work.
This really nothing more than what I do in the classroom, online or f2f. Here is a collaborative etherpad draft sharing this “hanging out, mucking about, geeking out, and sharing on”.
