    Interesting, and fun, reminder that we view everything from a particular standpoint. It has taken us a long time and a lot of effort to arrive at that standpoint, so it’s difficult to abandon it in a new situation and recognise that there is a blindspot, wherever we stand.

      You are so right. And we can’t be absolutely flexible. Even Darwin would think that way lies extinction. But we have to habituate the practice of standing someplace else.
